QCWA Chapter 16 had a booth at the Radio Society of Tucson hamfest on October 7th.  Tom Fagan K7DF, President, and Carl Foster KB7AZ, Secretary/treasurer manned the booth.  The booth was right next to the RST, ARRL and Amateur Radio Council of Arizona booths.  Many hams dropped by to get information on QCWA and renew their membership.  Tom and Carl reported that membership has increased this year.

After the hamfest, the chapter had a luncheon at the Hungry Fox restaurant attended by 18 hams.  The chapter is looking to have one more meeting this year in the Phoenix area after the Superstition hamfest on December 2nd.  We are looking for a restaurant in the area with a meeting room. In 2024, we are planning on meetings after  hamfests in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma.
